The Embroiderers’ Guild has its Headquarters in Adelaide and has many country
branches. Ours, the Copper Triangle Branch serves Moonta, Kadina and Wallaroo.
We are motivated by the love of embroidery and needlecraft and our branch has
been meeting since 1982.
We endeavor to promote the art of embroidery in all its disciplines and our members
are a mix of beginners and experienced stitchers of all ages.
Friendly instruction is always available, regular workshops are held to learn new
(or improve) techniques and we have an extensive library for our members’ use.
On occasion we hold displays of our work.
We meet on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in the Supper Room of the
Moonta Town Hall from 9.00am -3.00pm. BYO lunch – and of course, work to do.
We are a happy and very friendly group of passionate embroiderers and we extend
a warm welcome to visitors and new members.
